Just Say the Word Messy and Look What Happens

Yeah, pretty much my life exploded. :-) Especially, uh-hmm, life on MySpace. But not my MySpace. Sigh.

You know, I was the same way. Tell me one thing and I'd nod my head "yeah, okay, whatever" and be thinking to myself, "just be quiet because you really don't know what you are talking about". Double sigh.

Remember my biggest MySpace Fear? I'll remind you. It was (and still is) The Drama Factor. And it came to life in a Big Big way not too long ago. And I sat here watching it all unfold while the drama queens burned up their keyboards late into the night.

Remember my messy life? I should say my daughter's messy life, too. Yeah, so I watched the drama unfold from here while she was over there. Literally biting my nails, or that skin around them. Cuticles, right? Yeah, well, by the next morning they were as much of a mess as the social lives of a few young girls I know.

Next day - Lots of tears. Lots of phone conversations. Mess, mess, mess. Regrets, Pain, Real Sorrow. Fear. No need for actually saying "I told you so" because the words hung so heavy in the air we could both hear them and feel them already.

Some situations are really so unimportant in the "big picture" but they are still so real. So hard. So scary. I think those insignificant and petty mess ups are actually pretty important lessons if we ever want to get to the big picture stuff. Maybe that's just me making excuses for some of my own messiness. Who really knows.

Anyway, my little blog is just that. Little. And very neglected at this point. Sigh, again. What was that? Did someone just say, "I told you so, you'll never find the time to write for that blog thing"?

Ha - just wait...because you don't really know what you are talking about. ;-)
